We look forward to milestones arriving, and we yearn to hold onto moments that mattered. Everything originates from our innate human anticipation of the future and our gentle nostalgia for the past.

Before building this website, I actually developed a WeChat Mini-Program with similar capabilities. That Mini-Program originally started as a humble countdown tool for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In addition to the tournament countdown, it featured group stage standings, team rankings, personal team support, and a fun champion-prediction mini-game.
Once the World Cup concluded, I expanded the Mini-Program into a comprehensive countdown tracker for all kinds of events across China, alongside a unique personal milestone space called **Time Atlas** (in Chinese: 时间星图, meaning "Star Chart of Time")—a poetic name that I have always deeply loved.
After completing that Mini-Program, I felt an urge to build a web application that would replicate and evolve these features so people all around the world could use it. I gather and curate these milestones from current global news and cultural developments. To be completely candid, I am not the creator of these historic events—my role is to thoughtfully curate, polish, and present an aesthetically delightful canvas for anyone who cares about them.
Under the "Holidays" category, we track national holidays and observances across more than 40 countries. Most national holidays occur on fixed annual calendar dates; although lunar and traditional calendar holidays (like the Chinese Spring Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival) shift relative to the Gregorian calendar, our system handles them smoothly. On the exact day of a holiday, the site automatically transforms into an interactive celebration view, and as soon as the day concludes, it seamlessly recalculates the countdown for the upcoming year—a thoughtful little design touch that brings life to the calendar.

Every creative idea and whimsical thought I envisioned was translated into reality through continuous dialogue with AI—whether it was full multilingual localization, country-based geo-tagging, or global time zone conversions. When the AI tools comprehend my design intentions, users in different countries can perceive countdowns synchronized to their exact local time zones. I welcome your thoughts and feedback!
